JACKLYN CARGILL MEYER

SHE/THEY | MA, MS

Healing happens when you can bring your whole self—your experiences, identity, and feelings—into a space where you feel truly seen, supported, and valued. I provide affirming, client-centered therapy for LGBTQIA+ communities and have extensive experience working with nonmonogamous and kink populations. My approach blends compassion, practical guidance, and evidence-based methods to help clients navigate life’s challenges, grow self-awareness, and strengthen relationships.

Through telehealth, I offer individual counseling and couples therapy using the Gottman Method (Level 2), helping partners deepen connection, improve communication, and build the relationships they want. I also provide Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy for OCD, guiding clients to reduce anxiety, break free from cycles of fear, and live more fully.

I strive to create a collaborative environment where your goals, values, and identity are central. Therapy with me is a place to explore, reflect, and practice the skills that will support lasting change.

Jacklyn (she/they) is a Resident in Counseling (VA) under the supervision of Megan Green, MA, LPC, LCPC, and holds master’s degrees in psychology and clinical mental health counseling.
